FARDC's heavy artillerly and Sukhoi 25 bombards the M23's key holdings in Masisi

 


The Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo shelled this Saturday, November 25, 2023, the positions of the M23 rebels in Karenga and Kilolirwe, respectively in the Kamuronza and Bashali Kaembe groupings in Masisi territory. Sources within civil society report that FARDC heavy artillery including the Sokhoï-25 fighter plane and multiple rocket launchers were mobilized to strike strategic M23 positions, including ammunition depots in Nturo (Kilolirwe) and Karenga.
