They are not M23!!!

The two people arrested are not M23, as the very first information circulated on social networks. surely they were arrested and presented as enemies, but after verification, it was shown that they are Wazalendo but not M23s. They came from Numbi and it was the outfit that caused the confusion They are from the Wazalendo movement called GAVE, of General Bahati Maroke, working in Numbi in the province of South Kivu. Colonel Jean Claude, who controls the Rusayo/nyiragongo area, confirms this to us, after having interviewed them by the military officers of the province. They have their mission orders well identified and known by the military authorities of South Kivu.

Note that Colonel Jean Claude, who controls the Rusayo area, reports that they were arrested because they were wearing Burundian military uniforms. But they are not Rwandans, they are Congolese from South Kivu.

President nyusi in hot soup!

Chaos erupted in the heart of Mozambique’s capital today, prompting the urgent evacuation of President Filipe Nyusi by a presidential helicopter. The incident underscores a rapidly deteriorating situation in Maputo, as tensions appear to escalate within the city.

A video circulating on social media shows the presidential helicopter landing on a building rooftop, with reports indicating it was part of an emergency evacuation effort for President Nyusi. The cause of the unrest remains unclear, though local sources suggest rising political and social tensions may be driving the turmoil.

Professor Adriano Nuvunga, a prominent academic and activist, shared the video on social media, highlighting the gravity of the situation. The footage has since gone viral, sparking concern and speculation about the stability of Mozambique’s leadership and the safety of its citizens.

Local witnesses reported heightened police presence and sporadic unrest across key areas in Maputo. Businesses and public services have been disrupted as residents attempt to navigate the unrest. The government has yet to release an official statement addressing the incident or providing details on the president’s condition.

FDLR to be neutralised according to the CONOP

DRC and Rwanda adopted, on Tuesday, November 26, a document implementing the harmonized plan for the neutralization of the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR) and the lifting of Rwanda's defense.

These two countries signed this document entitled: "Concept of Operations" (CONOP) at the 6th ministerial meeting on the peace process in the East of the DRC held in Luanda (Angola).

Kinshasa and Kigali thus wanted to facilitate the disengagement of this rebel force.

During this meeting, the ministers of these two countries concluded on the need to continue as quickly as possible the negotiations on the other aspects of the draft agreement as presented to the parties by the Angolan mediator Joao Lourenco last August.

The Congolese delegation was led by its Minister of Foreign Affairs, Thérèse Kayikwamba Wagner, while that of Rwanda was led by Olivier Nduhungirehe, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

This meeting takes place three weeks after the establishment in Goma (North Kivu) of the Reinforced Ad Hoc Verification Mechanism (MVA-R) of the Luanda process.

Led by Angola, this mechanism aims to monitor not only the ceasefire between the two states, but also their mutual accusations of aggression and attacks.

Last weekend, the Angolan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, and the Head of MONUSCO, Bintou Keita, signed in Luanda a memorandum of understanding on MONUSCO's support for the Reinforced Ad Hoc Verification Mechanism (MVA-R).

As part of the ceasefire in force since August 4, 2024, indicates a press release from MONUSCO, the agreement provides for the sharing of information and field reports.

According to OSINT sources, these claimed M23 collaborators/recruits were arrested at the border between Uganda and Rwanda, before being extradited to Ituri (in the north-east of the Democratic Republic of Congo). The commander of the Police in Ituri, General Ngoy Sengelwa presented these M23 recruits to the military governor, Lieutenant-General Luboya N'kashama Johnny, on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.

There are a total of 18 displaced persons, including minors, recruited at the  Savo site in the Bahema-Badjere chiefdom, in the Djugu territory, Ituri province, and are under arrest in Bunia, the provincial capital.

These alleged M23 collaboratorsalleged M23 collaborators were arrested at the border between Uganda and Rwanda, before being extradited to Ituri (in the north-east of the Democratic Republic of Congo), reports the commander of the Police in Ituri, General Ngoy Sengelwa, who presented these M23 recruits to the military governor, Lieutenant-General Luboya N'kashama Johnny, on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.

"On the 5th, these people supported by the recruiter crossed the border through Mahagi, Alego and Paida, and were intercepted already at the Uganda-Rwanda border, where they were to cross, reach North Kivu and go to Tshanzu where there is a training center of M23. The friendly services of Uganda, after intercepting them, returned them to us. And since they returned on November 15, they have been taken care of by the services," declared the boss of the Congolese National Police in Ituri, during the said presentation at the provincial head office in Bunia.

Watch the video:

The military governor of Ituri, Lieutenant-General Luboya N'kashama Johnny, is asking the ICC (International Criminal Court) to prosecute the recruiters of these displaced people.

"These young people that you see there, sacrificed, who come from poor families, displaced, victims, but we want to victimize them a second time. They went to recruit them because they are vulnerable, and also, because when they recruit them, there are some who will speak to defend these enemies. They are displaced people, that is a criminal act, it is a crime against humanity. We ask the ICC to take care of them because they are going to the displaced persons site," declared the gorvenor.

According to Intelligence from the local society and military sources within FARDC  under the state of siege, the province of Ituri is under threat of attack by the M23, which collaborates with the Zaire militia, active in the territory of Djugu. A few months ago, bases of FARDC were simultaneously attacked by elements of the said militia in Kasenyi and Tchomia, on the shores of Lake Albert.

HEZBOLLAH ATTACKS ISRAELI NAVAL BASE

Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement announced on Sunday that it had carried out its first drone attack on an Israeli naval base, located 150 kilometers (93 miles) from the border with Lebanon.

"Fighters of the Islamic resistance movement [Hezbollah] attacked [the Israeli] naval base in Ashdod, located 150 kilometers away from the Lebanese-Palestinian border, using unmanned aerial vehicles," the statement read. It added that all targets were destroyed.

However, the IDF has not confirmed the attack. "No sirens warning of a drone sounded at that time, neither near the Lebanon border nor near Ashdod, and the military says it is unaware of the claims,"

Alshabaab intensifies use of drones

AlShabaab has reportedly intensified its focus on drone warfare, transitioning from surveillance to potentially more offensive operations, according to a 171-page report presented to the United Nations Security Council by the Panel of Experts on Somalia.

Experts advise the African Union to stay vigilant during the transition from ATMISS to AUSSOM and call on member states to improve Somalia's maritime security by enhancing offshore patrol capabilities and building coast guard infrastructure to address piracy and maritime crime.

FARDC-UPDF coalition clash with ADF at Kainama

According to Intelligence sources,Elements of the FARDC-UPDF coalition foiled an attack by ADF rebels this Thursday, November 21, 2024 in the Banande-kainama group, Beni territory in North Kivu.

The attackers who had just led the incursion into the village of Kingamubhiri, saw their progress stopped by the aforementioned coalition which intervened urgently.

However, there was general paralysis of activities following the detonations of heavy and light weapons.

Information I have got now asserts:

"The ADF attacked Kingamubhiri, in Kainama, in broad daylight. The FARDC-UPDF coalition intervened to stop their maneuver. Following the detonations of heavy and light weapons, the inhabitants moved. Many went to concentrate in the position of the security elements for their protection," said Jonas Kasumba, president of the civil society of the Banande-kainama group.

Some confidant official sources, including village chiefs, have confirmed the news. However, they have limited themselves to confirming the facts.

It should be noted that this attack comes a few days after two others on the Eringeti-Kainama road axis, particularly in Bango, where one person died alongside several burnt properties including a car and several motorcycles.

The second attack took place last Wednesday. The toll was one civilian killed, another injured, a car set on fire and a few civilians missing.
