 Alshabaab  claims responsibility for two suicide attacks targeting Dhusamareb town, where president HSM had set up a temporary base to encourage the military offensive against the group. Alshabaab said one of the attacks hit the presidential palace of the town. These two car explosions reported in Dhusamareb on Thursday morning.  State television reports security forces foiled a suicide attack targeting a security checkpoint.  Al Shabab claimed responsibility for the attack. Casualties unknown.

  The trial of officers Of FARDC  involved in the murder of 56 civilians at Goma , commissioner Aimé Byamungu, approved military defender, is sentenced to 6 years including 1 year of penal servitude and 5 years of suspended sentence. Aimé Byamungu was convicted on Monday September 25 in a flagrant trial for disorder in the courtroom and rebellion, he appealed against the decision of the Military Court of North Kivu.
