Watch the video: A Rwandan military fixed-wing aircraft, identified as a Cessna 208 Caravan, was spotted violating the airspace of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) over Minembwe, in South Kivu province. According to several local sources, the aircraft was allegedly used to supply weapons and logistical support to armed groups operating in the area, including the M23, the Rwandan Defence Forces (RDF), Red-Tabara, and the Twirwaneho group. A new military operation, dubbed “LEROMO,” was announced Tuesday in Beni to hunt down fighters from the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), active in North Kivu and Ituri. The operation will be conducted jointly by the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) and the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (FARDC), with the aim of intensifying the fight against armed groups and strengthening the security of civilians.

 There are rumours that M23"s Willy Ngoma is no more. A drone strike targeting a military procession early this morning is rumoured to have claimed the life of the AFC/M23 military spokesperson. Several officers miraculously made it out and others were injured. Kinshasa has activated attack mode for the past few days, using drones and ground troops. FARDC, wazalendo, Fndb and mercenaries from 8 countries attack AFC/M23 simultaneously on several fronts, in violation of the ceasefire accepted by both parties! It should also be noted that unfortunately civilians also fall, in some blind drone strikes. The war has resumed! Therefore, we will continue to engage with officials in the Administration and Congress with jurisdiction over the AGOA program to encourage the termination of Rwanda’s AGOA eligibility. At least two civilians were killed by ADF rebels in Mavete, about 6 km west of Oicha, while they were going to their fields on Saturday, February 14, 2026. The bodies were taken to the morgue at Oicha General Hospital.
