Wazalendo claim killing up to 18 officers of the M23 in the recent drone attack in Rubaya

 

The FARDC drone strikes targeted rebel and Rwandan military positions affiliated with the AFC_M23. According  to Intelligence leaks from the wazalendo,Among the reported victims are:

- Emmanuel Sultani Makenga, Chief of Staff of the rebellion, narrowly escaped in a church 4 km from the site of the attack; he is alive and uninjured.

- Willy Ngoma, killed

- Eric Kazungu, Makenga's escort leader, killed

- Major Pascal, Nzenze's security assistant was also killed.

- Colonel Safari, Imani Nzenze's aide-de-camp,also killed.

- Makenga's brother, seriously wounded and later died.

-And  Five other unidentified rebels

NB:There is a lot circulating information within the wazalendo ranks on the rubaya drone strike.The wazalendo still hold various unconfirmed claims that other rebel military officers were transferred to a UPDF military hospital in Uganda and an RDF military hospital in Rwanda.On claims of transferring the injured to UPDF military hospital,many elites say that it is a usual way of wazalendo trying to implicate Uganda into this war,a thing the Uganda gorvenment has rubbished several times.
