Watch the video:
A Rwandan military fixed-wing aircraft, identified as a Cessna 208 Caravan, was spotted violating the airspace of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) over Minembwe, in South Kivu province. According to several local sources, the aircraft was allegedly used to supply weapons and logistical support to armed groups operating in the area, including the M23, the Rwandan Defence Forces (RDF), Red-Tabara, and the Twirwaneho group. This constitutes a blatant violation of Congolese sovereignty and a further breach of the Washington Peace Agreement, which Rwanda has not respected since its signing. The continuation of these operations fuels instability and seriously undermines peace efforts in eastern DRC.
