A total of 7,532 additional soldiers who completed their training at the Tchanzu camp were presented by the AFC/M23 on February 8.
These troops displayed demonstrations of strength through martial arts before their Chief of Staff, Sultani Makenga.
While diplomacy is presented as the preferred approach in the conflict in eastern DRC, the presentation of this latest military contingent raises questions about the end of hostilities.
