M23 captures Kiseguro and kigunga of Binza,within few hours the M23 is believed to connect Kiwanja to Ishasha.


After intense fighting since 7 a.m. this Friday, August 2 between the M23 rebels supported by Rwanda and wazalendo , the rebels have just taken the village of Kigunga and the locality of kiseguro in the group of Binza 16 and 17km from the city of kiwanja
in the territory of

Rutshuru .
Our source on site reports a bomb dropped by the M23_RDF which has just fallen on a civilian house.
Few hours before the end of the humanitarian truce renewed for the second time by the USA since July 19, the M23 rebels advanced in the group of Binza where they recovered the localities/villages of Nyabanira , kasave, kiseguro, makoka, katwiguru, kisharo after a few hours of fighting against the wazalendo .

The population of nyamilima 20km from kisharo spends the night in total psychosis.

It should be noted that in this area, there are no Fardc up to Ishasha, since the fall of vitshumbi.

The rebels are likely  in the coming days if not hours connect Kiwanja to the locality of Ishasha, border between RDC and Uganda which is 40 km from Kisharo where the rebels spend the night this Friday 02/08.

At least 20 ADF rebels were killed in joint FARDC-UPDF operations in one week in the Lolwa forest, Mambasa territory (Ituri).




The FARDC spokesman in Ituri, Lieutenant Jules Ngongo, put forward these figures on Wednesday, July 31, on media outlets.


This military officer also indicated that 5 soldiers were killed on the spot and two others have been wounded since the beginning of these operations.


After an exchange of fire, the army regained control of the village of Chipemuche where these rebels abandoned a significant quantity of ammunition.


According to local sources, these clashes have caused a movement of populations towards Mungamba and the center of the chiefdom of Babila Bakwanza.


Military measures were reinforced to contain this rebel movement.


The same sources report that these assailants fled to Lolwa in the direction of Mambasa and to several localities on the national road number 4 to commit abuses against the population.


Security sources in the area, who cite the survivors, indicate that these militiamen are trying to take the direction that leads to the perimeters of the Okapi Wildlife Reserve.


The army says it has reinforced its positions to prevent their reorganisation.

Victims of the Bweramana bombing by M23 buried today.

  The Minister of Mines represented the Congolese head of state at the ceremony of homage and commemoration of the victims of the recent bombings attributed to the M23 at Bweremana . At least 7 bodies were buried this Friday. The ceremony took place at the GENOCOST cemetery in Kibati, in the presence of the families of the victims.
