Wàzalendo spokesperson still alleging and blaming UPDF for aiding M23

The spokesperson for the wazalendo in Kivu, Mr. Jules Mulumba, explains the clashes between wazalendo and Rdfm23Afc UPDF were defeated between Mugunga and Muja near Goma by the wazalendo on July 21 and 22, 2025. It was the East African community EAC (Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) that attacked us. These three countries united to defeat the DRC. Every day the soldiers kill Rwandans RDF-M23-AFC (Rwandan army) and KDF- (Kenyan army) cross the borders with armored vehicles and ammunition from Rwanda and Uganda to attack us (we wazalendo them at home, on our soil here in North Kivu and in South Kivu. We threaten them and we never back down, if the government wants we will be in Bunagana in the next one. These RDF m23 AFC attacked us on July 21 around Muja as they always attack. They fell into our ambush and they were all neutralized by our forces wazalendo.

M23 makes new demands before it returns to Doha

 

This is what M23-AFC has asked the Congolese government so as to return to the talks that will take place in DOHA

🚫The Congolese government must revoke the arrest warrants of the M23 leaders and the money they have placed on the person who will arrest them.

🚫_The Congolese government must stop hate speech against people who SPEAK the Kinyarwanda language, especially those of the BWA Tutsi ethnic group.

🚫_Tchisekedi must give AGACIRO to the talks that are taking place in Doha by sending people with responsibilities to the government and appointing people who do not have responsibilities and do not have known jobs.

🚫_The Congolese government must allow Kinyarwanda-speaking Congolese to travel to Kinshasa without any problems. And those whose passports have been revoked should be given to those who do not have them and those who want them should be given them.
