An attack by the Mai-Mai Biloze Bishambuke at the of refugee camp in the territory, during the morning of May 28, injured 7 among the displaced and one dead in the ranks of Mai - Mai.
"The provisional record shows arrested Mai-Mai element, an AK47 weapon recovered, 7 displaced people were injured, affected by stray bullets", says Captain Dieudonné Kasereka, military spokesperson for Operation Sukola 2 South Kivu.
The army has recovered 89 cows stolen by these Mai-Mai, who attacked the refugee camp.
" They attacked the camp of the displaced. We pushed them back and they are being chased by the FARDC. Until this moment, operations continue ", reassures the military hierarchy.
Two blue helmets soldiers were also injured in these incidents.
