A redeployment which aims to ensure the security of the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize winner Dr Denis Mukwege, medical staff and patients. Doctor Denis Mukwege thanks the United Nations forces. “We welcome the redeployment of MONUSCO elements to Panzi since this morning to ensure the safety of the sick as well as our staff. Thank you to the United Nations for ensuring our protection, ”he posted on his twitter account. It should be remembered that since his declaration on the Kipupu massacre last July, Doctor Denis Mukwege has been the subject of death threats. Several Non-Governmental Organizations and those of the civil society support it by demanding that the authors of these threats be punished according to the law. Along with women survivors of sexual violence, Mukwege plans to organize a demonstration on October 1 to demand justice for the massacres committed in the DRC and redress for all victims.
