The commission of inquiry into the mysterious
death of the head of military intelligence,
General Delphin Kahimbi, published its findings
on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 in Kinshasa, to
Chief of Staff Célestin Mbala during a
ceremony  of the FARDC, in
the commune of Ngaliema. In a press release
dated August 06, 2020, the Bill Clinton Peace
Foundation (FBCP) expressed concern about
the growing insecurity in General Delphin
Kahimbi's family. - Publicity- According to the
same press release, relatives of General
Kahimbi would be detained and face threats.
First, 23-year-old nephew Olivier Makita, who
was arrested on June 23, 2020 and detained at
the ANR. He would be involved in the death of
his uncle. Then there is her pastor Jérémie
Kumuinuana, 38 years old, arrested on July 03,
2020, on the grounds that Ms. Nkoy's number
was on her phone. Delphin Kahimbi was found
dead at his home on Friday February 28, 2020.
Major General Marcel Mbangu had been
appointed by the Chief of the General Staff of
the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic
of Congo (FARDC), General Célestin Mbala
Munsense, to head the commission of inquiry
charged with elucidating the circumstances of
General Kahimbi's death. His widow Brenda
Nkoy Okale was summoned by the Commission
of Inquiry as part of the hearings to clarify the
circumstances of the highly suspicious death
of General Delphin Kahimbi.
