Major General Monwabisi DYAKOPU, SAMIDRC visited the main operational base of Sake, in Masisi to supervise operations and encourage the troops engaged on the front line. He welcomed the joint counter-offensive operations of the SAMIDRC and FARDC troops who repelled the major assault launched by M23 rebels"

In a similar development,H.E Lucy Tamlyn, USA Ambassador to the DRC, visited SAMIDRC & met with Brigadier Gen. Julius Gambosi, Deputy Force Commander & Brigadier Gen. Desmond Chawanda, Chief of Staff, & discussed matters of mutual interest on peace and security for sustainable development in Eastern DRC.
