Up to 600 French service men test positive of covid19

As the number of COVID-19 cases confirmed globally has surpassed 1 million, the World Health Organization (WHO) is stressing the need for countries to shut their economies down to curb the spreading of the coronavirus, be patient, and give time for lockdowns to work.
The number of COVID-19 cases in the United States has risen above 250,000, Johns Hopkins University’s real-time tracker revealed on Friday.
Russia is suspending, starting 4 April, international flights for evacuating citizens from abroad, in order to contain the coronavirus through preventing a new wave of imported cases.
According to Russian Ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov, more than 2,000 Russian citizens cannot return from the United States due to travel restrictions that were introduced to fight the spread of COVID-19.
The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic on 11 March. According to data updated by WHO on 3 April, the total number of those infected stands at 972,303, while the death toll is 50,322. Johns Hopkins University argues that about 1.1 million people have been infected with the coronavirus worldwide, with over 59,000 fatalities so far.

This carfew is supposed to be observed by every Ugandan as a MUST and even the president.So am really shocked to some of you who think you cannot obey it!!! Whether you are a minister or whatever you think you are,you must obey it!! However there may be and are some exceptions like Nurses,doctors, and others with emergency cases.Fir the case of these I have described like Nurses and doctors, if you are going for a night duty then you are allowed but do not use that exception to go where you are not needed to be!!!Only personnels involved in making sure that people adhere to the carfew are the only ones allowed beyond 7pm.So, everyone irrespective of who you are must be at his home by 7pm!! And try to respect those involved in seeing that the carfew is respected!!!!

Police in Soroti has arrested a one Kungu Lazarus 24, a self proclaimed mobile Herbalist for duping the public that he had discovered local herb for curing #COVID19 with intent to extort money from patients at Soroti Regional Referral Hospital by presenting them a red liquid.

The NHS Nightingale Hospital, one of the biggest in the world, opens its doors to coronavirus patients at the ExCel convention centre in London.

The hospital, which was assembled in 9 days, is intended to house up to 4,000 people. It was set up in order to ease the pressure on closed hospitals which have been overwhelmed by COVID-19 patients. ​

On Wednesday, the United Kingdom registered the biggest increase in coronavirus-related deaths so far since the start of the outbreak. According to the the World Health Organization (WHO) the number of fatalities has risen to 2,352.

At the same time, Johns Hopkins University says that there are 33,718 COVID-19 cases and 2,921 fatalities in the UK.
