M23 gets more reinforcements this night!

This night around 8:00pm ,reports and information from the localities, talk of 6 trucks full of soldiers an some equipments passing via kitshanga heading for sake.Their intension is to strengthen their lines and probably lay fresh and fresh attacks, with the aim of diverting the FARDC and Wazalendo attacks. There is information pointing on the fact that M23 wants this weekend to lay a concretized operations in masisi and probably face off with an attack on Goma.We are calling upon FARDC to tighten their patrols and maximize their preparations for war on fronts. The M23 are truly aiming to lay a strong offensive.

M23 Vs FARDC,,violent clashes the whole of this Friday.

Intense fighting resumed since early morning this Friday, January 10, 2025 on the hill of Kahongole, overlooking the locality of Masisi-center, approximately 80 kilometers west of Goma, in the territory of Masisi (North Kivu). According to local civil society, it was the army supported by the wazalendo who launched the assault with the aim of reconquering the capital of the territory of Masisi. Explosions of heavy and light weapons that resonate in the region created a psychosis among the population remaining in Masisi-center and its surroundings. "Masisi woke up under gunfire that was reported around Kahongole, it is a hill that overlooks Masisi-center. On other lines of combat, the FARDC, supported by the wazalendo, continue to retake localities, particularly on the Ngungu and Karuba axis. "At Ngungu, towards Mupfunzi, Kabashumba axis overlooking Rubaya, the wazalendo with the FARDC were advancing towards Rubaya. But also, towards Rushoga, they were advancing towards Karuba,". Other fighting between the FARDC-wazalendo coalition and the M23, supported by the Rwandan army, was reported all day Thursday on hills overlooking the Bweremana-Minova axis, still in the Masisi territory. This was the case of the Ndumba and Kashingamutwe hills where FARDC'S forces had an ascendancy over the M23/RDF coalition, according to Intelligence collections from civilians.

Intelligence extracts revealed to us that On the RN2 side - Shasha ,The fighting was in Shasha-Kabase- Ndumba The objective was to reopen the road. On the Lubero side, the M23 had removed their heavy weapons and taken them to Rwindi

In a statement made this Friday, January 10, 2025, in Goma, the capital of the North Kivu province, members of several citizen movements call on the President of the Republic, Félix Tshisekedi, to officially declare war on Rwanda. This call is made the day after the reoccupation of the capital of the Masisi territory by the M23 terrorists, supported by the Paul Kagame regime. According to these activists, they claim that the occupation of Congolese territories benefits Paul Kagame, Rwandan president, and Yoweri Museveni of Uganda who enrich themselves from the plundering of minerals and other wealth from Congolese soil. These citizen movements and pressure groups then demand the closure of all borders with Rwanda and the release of all soldiers unjustly convicted.

The Minister of Communication and Media reaffirmed the country's desire to do everything possible to end once and for all the Rwandan war of aggression via the M23 rebellion. During a press briefing held on Thursday, January 9, 2024 with his colleague from Foreign Affairs and the spokesperson for the FARDC, Patrick Muyaya revealed that if the government opposes any initiative for dialogue with this rebel movement, it is to break with the cycle of mixing and mixing at the root of treason within the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo. “This war is waged against every Congolese wherever they are on the national territory because it has been going on for 30 years. President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi inherited this war and with him we now have the advantage of having a clear strategy that we detail to you every day to put an end to it once and for all and to avoid recycling”, “This is why Madam Minister of State and all Congolese negotiators are firm on the issue of negotiation with the M23 because there is no question that we can open any breach to recycle the problem of mixing and blending that has allowed us to keep traitors within our Army until now in any case. And if we talk about the death penalty, it is precisely to repress behaviors like that”, Patrick Muyaya told the press.

Wazalendo lays an ambush on M23 convoy on. Tongo-Kanaba axis

A convoy of three M23 rebels vehicles was targeted by young Wazalendo, members of the Collective of Movements for Change (CMC), under the leadership of General Dominique Kamanzi Ndaruhutse, on the Tongo-Kanaba axis ,this spot is near mulimbi of tongo, in territory from Rutshuru.

According to information from the spot, the attack was aimed at a convoy composed of two Kamaz trucks and a Land Cruiser vehicle from Kalengera, Ratshuru territory, and heading for Kitshanga, in the territory of Masisi.

We bombed a Land Cruiser belonging to the M23 rebels. This vehicle, which was heading for Kitshanga, it was anticipated to have transported M23 officers. The precise assessment remains to be confirmed, "reported a member from wazalendo.
