DRC army warns all those transmitting un substantiated information and those promoting rebellious activities in FIZI,UVIRA and MWENGA in South kivu


The Armed Forces of the DRC (congolese) denounce and guard the armed groups of mainly ethnic origin which operate under the unacceptable pretext of self-defense and which broadcast, in social media, unsubstantiated information against the Armed Forces with the aim to
tarnish their image and reputation in national and international opinion.
In a statement signed by their spokesperson, General Major Leon Richard Kasonga, the FARDC explains that unlike the lies of these armed groups sponsored and manipulated by politicians in a bad position that the Armed Forces defend the cause of certain communities in To the detriment of others in the territories of Mwenga, Uvira and Fizi in South Kivu, it is " in fact these uncommitted, members of the same ethnicity, supported by some army deserters who formed a rebellion and attacking both other local communities as well as the Armed Forces ".

The suspect, Isaac Mulengenyi, 23, reportedly fired in the air to scare onlookers however mob charged at him, arrested and handed him to police.
