5 new Covid19 cases in the city of Bunia

According to the network of our leaks,Ituri province recorded 5 new covid19 cases in the city of Bunia, which is the most affected by the pandemic in the province.
This brings to more than 30 the number of positive cases registered in the capital of Ituri with one death.
So far, the efforts of the provincial authorities which have made the wearing of masks compulsory in public places do not seem to be enough to contain the chain of contamination.All Ugandan truck drivers and all foreigners fellying goods via Bunia to and from Uganda are alerted to be extra careful.

COVID19 FRIDAY, JULY 24th, 196 new people healed, 34 new confirmed cases (13 in Kinshasa, 8 in South Kivu, 8 in Tshopo and 5 in Ituri) on 464 samples tested, 3 death, 236 suspicious cases.
Since the beginning of the epidemic, the cumulation of cases has been 8.801, including 8800 confirmed cases and 1 probable cases:
• Kinshasa: 7440 cases
• Kongo-Central: 359 cases
• South Kivu: 286 cases
• North Kivu: 274 cases
• Haut-Katanga: 260 cases
• Lualaba: 75 cases
• Ituri: 45 cases
• Tshopo: 24 cases
• High Ulé: 19 cases
• Kwilu: 6 cases
• Ecuador: 5 cases
• South Ubangi: 4 cases
• Haut-Lomami: 1 cases
• Kasai: 1 cases
• Kwango: 1 cases
In total, there were 5.305 people healed and 204 deaths (203 confirmed cases and 1 probable cases).

Citzens have done a great work in the arrest of an armed robber

Vigilant residents arrest armed man Residents of Kiwatule this afternoon foiled an attempted robbery in Kiwatule after gunman entered Liquid Cash Emergency Loans with intent to rob. The suspect, Isaac Mulengenyi, 23, reportedly fired in the air to scare onlookers however mob charged at him, arrested and handed him to police. A case of aggravated robbery has been opened at Ntinda Police Station Vide CRB 123/2019 while a rifle has been recovered with nine rounds of ammunition. The suspect is still being detained at Ntinda pending appearance before court.
