In his briefing to the Council of Ministers on Friday, August 27, 2020, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Interior, Security and Customary Affairs indicated that the activism of armed groups continues, in particular that of the ADF group. / MTM in Beni in North Kivu and that of "FRF NGUMINO / Aile Michel RUKUNDA" in South Kivu, although increasingly weakened by the firepower of the FARDC.

"Strategies are being carried out by the FARDC General Staff to counter these movements," reassured the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Interior, Security and Customary Affairs, Gilbert Kankonde.
