Minister of interior and customary affairs ,Gilbert Kankonde at the 46th meeting of the council of ministers hinted on Creation of a new militia called "Association for the balkanization of the DRC" by some ex - "M23" rebels ,he also hinted on ADF rebels


In his briefing to the Council of Ministers on Friday, August 27, 2020, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Interior, Security and Customary Affairs indicated that the activism of armed groups continues, in particular that of the ADF group. / MTM in Beni in North Kivu and that of "FRF NGUMINO / Aile Michel RUKUNDA" in South Kivu, although increasingly weakened by the firepower of the FARDC.
The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, Security and Customary Affairs also noted the creation of a new militia called "Association for the balkanization of the DRC" by some ex - "M23" rebels in South Kivu.
"Strategies are being carried out by the FARDC General Staff to counter these movements," reassured the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Interior, Security and Customary Affairs, Gilbert Kankonde.

Citzens have done a great work in the arrest of an armed robber

Vigilant residents arrest armed man Residents of Kiwatule this afternoon foiled an attempted robbery in Kiwatule after gunman entered Liquid Cash Emergency Loans with intent to rob. The suspect, Isaac Mulengenyi, 23, reportedly fired in the air to scare onlookers however mob charged at him, arrested and handed him to police. A case of aggravated robbery has been opened at Ntinda Police Station Vide CRB 123/2019 while a rifle has been recovered with nine rounds of ammunition. The suspect is still being detained at Ntinda pending appearance before court.
