Minister Marie ntumba Nzenza is already in Goma after a visit in Bujumbura

Marie Ntumba Nzeza is in Goma. The leader of Congolese diplomacy left Bujumbura on Monday, where she met Evariste Ndayishimiye, head of state of Burundi. She sent him Félix Tshisekedi's message in a closed meeting.

According to the sources of the Congolese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, exchanges focused on topics of common interest including security, economy and management of the COVID-19. pandemic.

There was also a question of exchanging on the mini-summit in Goma. Burundi favoured bilateral meetings. The Burundian authorities are not yet ready for a high-level multilateral regional meeting.

Marie Ntumba Nzeza has also exchanged with her Burundi counterpart Albert Shingiro on agenda items for the mini-summit in Goma via video conference on Wednesday. Felix Tshisekedi will participate in this meeting from North Kivu capital.

Citzens have done a great work in the arrest of an armed robber

Vigilant residents arrest armed man Residents of Kiwatule this afternoon foiled an attempted robbery in Kiwatule after gunman entered Liquid Cash Emergency Loans with intent to rob. The suspect, Isaac Mulengenyi, 23, reportedly fired in the air to scare onlookers however mob charged at him, arrested and handed him to police. A case of aggravated robbery has been opened at Ntinda Police Station Vide CRB 123/2019 while a rifle has been recovered with nine rounds of ammunition.
