Wazalendo Versus M23:The situation in the combat zones

The situation is calm on all front lines.

The situation report is in accordance to my confidants on the front line and other secret non combatant sources on and near the front line, plus analysis from observations on certain spots of the combat zones and frontline ..

In Tongo group, young resistance fighters have occupied the villages of Ruketsi , Rushovu , Kihonga , Kiyenje , Mahohe and Marangara since yesterday(However there are several un confirmed and unestablished sources circulating rumours that M23 is in full control of Bwiza), these young people also control the western part of the village of Bwiza . The M23 rebels are concentrated in the center of the village of Bwiza, to the north, south and east. The Kalengera road remains the only one for supplying the rebels who are in Bwiza for vehicles, despite several ambushes set up by the Wazalendo and losses inflicted on the rebels, this road remains under the control of the rebels of M23 . On the other front to the north of Rutshuru center, the rebels are visible at Kahunga and Kinyandongyi , but on the north side is from Rutshuru less than 15km from Kitagoma , border between the DRC and uganda , the resistance fighters are in the surrounding villages. Economic activities are taking place in Kiwanja. In Rutshuru again, there is rumour reports of massive entry of human reinforcements for M23 that is said to have come from various refugee camps, coming in various taxi buses and entering DRC as people going to the market that always takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays, rumours are going on that M23 may have got more that 150 new recruits from Friday of last week up to day via the borders line from Bunagana -Rugabano-Kitagoma ,M23 are totally ready for any advance by Wazalendo in need to capture Bunagana and may say that the battle for Bunagana may become one of the deadliest battles in Africa. In Nyiragongo ,There are reports of the entry of rebel reinforcements from the side of Hehu and Kabuhanga, the young resistance fighters concentrate a few meters from the Kenyan contingent. There is another phenomena that has arose ,there is a series of reported kidnappings in Rutshuru ,these kidnappings happened starting from last weekend and it is continuing even up to now. Many Congolese people have been crying out for their missing beloved ones.None knows who is kidnapping people, civilians are being kidnapped by individuals in civilian wear but hideously holding guns. These kidnappings that happened in this week precede a kidnapping of one Munyarwanda business man (dealing in the supply of sugar, rice, flour, water, etc)who was later killed by unknown people as he was from Rutshuru.Rumours and un tested theories are pointing at M23 who thinks that civilian people from DRC and who come to DRC are the ones whom may be leaking information about their hideouts and formations to the wazalendo,Another theory is based on rumours that it is wazalendo that is kidnapping people ,that wazalendo has many commandos everywhere and near m23 holdings and that they may be the ones kidnapping people.Last Tuesday,a young Uganda man who rides a bodaboda was kidnapped by unknown people  donned in civilian clpthes with guns hidden in their jackets, non knows where he was taken and it is believed he may have been killed. This young man called Bruno who is from maziba ward of bunagana town council in kisoro district of Uganda was kidnapped after dropping a person who had hired him for a ride to DRC.As I write his relatives are in agony for they do not know the fate of their son.As I write this ,I call upon Ugandans and Congolese refugees staying in Kisoro to stop simply entering DRC,this is war torn area and it is very dangerous for someone to hire one to ride him up to or near the combat zones.

I also call upon the wazalendo or the M23 ,if it is really them who kidnap people, then I do not know what they are fighting for, there is no rebel group or army that can exist without the support of people,if you sense that someone may be a danger to you,you just get him ,teach him but do not kill him if you get him, teach him and the set him free he undoubtedly can reap you support you cannot imagine, this is one of the reasons why resistance struggles become popular but if you start killing civilians then know that your demise has arrived.
