Kanyabayonga still under the FARDC and Wazalendo despite the social media rumours that it has been captured.

After violent clashes on Thursday in the hills overlooking Sake, the situation is calm this Friday. SADC bombings have reduced a M23_RDF reserve force to dust in Rumeneti. Several deaths have been reported in Mushaki, including officers and soldiers bombed in their positions in the Mushaki hills, says our source on site. In Kanyabayonga, the FARDC still controls the city despite the advance of the rebels as far as Butalongola, less than 15 km away. The FARDC positions remain intact towards Armoiries. In the territory of Masisi, fighting broke out at 4 a.m. between the M23-RDF and the Wazalendo. At 7:10 a.m., the Wazalendo, led by self-proclaimed General Kawiti, recovered the strategic Ndumba hill for a few hours. At 9:30 a.m., a reinforcement of the M23 from Kiluku and nambi/kabase has just succeeded in repelling the wazalendo, thus regaining control of this locked hill of #Shasha and muremure. The wazalendo are reorganizing, the situation remains volatile. Fighting has also been reported since 5 a.m. on Kasopo hill in the Bashali group. As of now, after a day of urban fighting, the Wazalendo and FARDC have taught the M23 a very good lesson, and claims to have killed an M23 commander in these clashes for kanyabayonga.

A YOUNG MAN SUSPECTED SPY OF THE M23 REBELS WAS STONED THEN BURNED IN MUGUNGA

He was stoned on Thursday, May 30, 2024 by the angry population, mostly displaced by war, not far from the Lushagala camp in the Mugunga district. According to local testimonies, this alleged M23 spy was filming the positions of the FARDC in Lushagala from or the army would have responded. According to the population, he was filming to direct the M23 rebels who were seeking to destroy the heavy weapons of the FARDC who had been shooting at them since 4 a.m. ''There were 3 of them and they filmed each time it was fired, the direction from which the shots from the heavy weapons of the Congolese army and the SAMIDRC came and sent the images to the M23_RDF. When the population approached from him his two others vanished into the Lushagala camp. After the population got their hands on him, he began to ask for forgiveness, begging to go and show where those who entrusted him with this filming mission were. But under the influence of anger and without qualms. , the population burned him alive after being stoned. ''explains a resident at the scene. The president of Mugunga civil society, Christian KALAMO condemns this case of popular justice which benefited the enemy rather than the loyalist forces. A resident explains: ''His phone is proof, he was filming the heavy weapons, he had already sent the photos to members of the M23, we have suffered for a long time, we cannot tolerate that someone for their own interests continues to attack us. .'' This is an act that we do not encourage, by carrying out this act the country lends a lot of information which was to help the country. The person killed would be a lead exploited to have all the information necessary to properly identify the sponsors . But when the population does mob justice, the government loses many things that it would have revealed and informed.

Operation Leopard still aiming at full control o Rwindi.

After a Sunday tinged with the sounds of weapons in the territory of Rutshuru, particularly on the hills overlooking Kibirizi, Kashalira, Katolo, Kikuku, Bwalanda and Rwindi from 4 a.m. until 6 p.m. where the lines do not move until then. this Monday morning our sources in these areas affirm that the situation is waking up calm in a few hills apart from Malianga, Kitereko and Mwamba where since 5 a.m. this morning, intense fighting between the M23/RDF and FARDC on the one hand and on the other elsewhere the wazalendo are indicated. Note that the FARDC and wazalendo still control Chaghala, Lusuli, Mirangi, Lusogha, Birundule, Kitolu, Kirere, Buluma, coats of arms surrounding and thus blocking any attempt by the M23_RDF to advance in Kanyabayonga. In the territory of Masisi, for 3 hours, the hill of Ndumba has been under fire from the wazalendo supported by the FARDC who are trying to dislodge the rebels who continue to resist in this strategic hill constituting a shield for muremure, Shasha. We are closely monitoring the situation for updates.

Military whisper hint on a possible reshuffle with FARDC and CNP

A late night call from Kinshasha reveals ...........!!!!According to the latest Military intelligence whispers from Kinshasha's palace of nation, major reshuffles are expected soon within the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC) and the Congolese National Police (PNC). These changes would result in permutations and dismissals of senior officials within these institutions responsible for the country's security.

FARDC clashes with M23 in Kyagala!

FARDC repeled a new attempt by the M23_RDF_AFC coalition in Kyaghala in Rutshuru territory, it has neutralized and captured others. "Detonations of heavy and light weapons were heard this Sunday, May 26 in Kyaghala +_ 30 km from Kanyabayonga. The Congolese army supported by young Wazalendo resistance fighters pushed back the enemy who wanted to overflow into Kyaghala. 12 among the M23_RDF were captured and several others neutralized,” confides a military source in the area. According to this source, the elements of the M23_RDF_AFC coalition were unable to confront the FARDC, they wore Congolese army uniforms to pass themselves off as the FARDC but this tactic was quickly discovered. "A FARDC and  M23 hand-to-hand engagement never took place. Sometimes they give money to the black sheep to sell them the army positions and achieve a withdrawal or either overrun and take the population as a human shield", specifies the source.

Rwandese CDF meets Uganda CDF.

Merely a month  after meeting the CDF of DRC,Muhoozi meets the CDF of Rwanda. If was the right, wright and light person to be inclusive in this meeting.my statement would be "Stop the madness in DRC".......Ther is none or no gorvenment that can fail to groom or own a dog,but do not let the GROOMED dog become a symbol of your" DOGNESS".One of the most disappointment people in Rutshuru have faced ,is this rebellion and its leaders dictating upon the market. How do you impose a give prive tag on somones commodity, how do you dictate on which products and where they have to come from?????? Did not you know that DRC was a liberal economy??...how do you think traders and businessmen from neighborhoods were gonna feel?????There is no any civic rebellion that can win if it starts doing things that turn off the civilians?????.......... M23 cannot win,it can hold any popularity if such polices ingenered or sentimentally driven because the rebels want to feel or to make their supports see ............STOP THAT STUPIDITY.How will you stop people from thinking that it is a Rwandan/kagame war yet you are foolishly and un calculatively implementing the replica of the Rwandan policies... I know ,you think I am against Rwanda...against kagame....but IAM against these Congolese who do not know how to fight for what they owe to fight for!

Russian military Tanks:T-72, T-80 and T-90.

 T-72

There is nothing that raises questions within civilians than seeing and wting to know about military wares.Recently a friend saw Tanks that were placed by Russia and was shocked to see similar structures he saw in his country. He then asked for a differentiation of all the tanks he saw and was wondering if an African country can own such or if wh he saw in his country was really similar to the one he had seen.He made us think of trying to get a thorough description of these tanks.

T-72

The T-72 tank is a main battle tank (MBT) that originated in the Soviet Union. It was designed to be a cost-effective solution for mass production and deployment across the Soviet military and its allies. The T-72 entered service in the early 1970s and has since become one of the most widely produced and exported tanks in the world. The T-72 is a Soviet-designed main battle tank that has been widely used around the world since its introduction in the early 1970s. It was created to be a cost-effective alternative to the more advanced T-64 and to complement the T-62. The T-72 has seen action in numerous conflicts and has been continuously upgraded over the years to maintain its effectiveness on the modern battlefield.

Some key features of the T-72 include its powerful 125mm smoothbore gun, composite armor, and relatively low profile. It has been produced in various variants, with different armor protection, engines, and fire control systems. The tank has been exported to many countries and has been license-produced in several of them.

Despite being considered somewhat outdated compared to more modern designs, the T-72 remains in service in numerous countries due to its reliability, simplicity, and low cost. However, it has been criticized for its relatively poor crew survivability and vulnerability to modern anti-tank weapons.

Here are some key features and characteristics of the T-72:

Armament: The T-72 is typically armed with a 125mm smoothbore main gun, which is capable of firing various types of ammunition, including armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding sabot (APFSDS) rounds, high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) rounds, and high-explosive fragmentation (HE-FRAG) rounds. It also has a secondary armament consisting of a coaxial 7.62mm machine gun and a roof-mounted 12.7mm machine gun.

Armor: The T-72 features composite armor, which combines steel with other materials like ceramics or plastics to enhance protection against anti-tank weapons. While effective against older anti-tank munitions, the armor of early T-72 variants was found to be vulnerable to modern anti-tank missiles and kinetic energy penetrators. Subsequent variants have seen improvements in armor protection.

Mobility: The T-72 is powered by a V-12 diesel engine, providing it with good mobility both on and off-road. It has a maximum road speed of around 60 km/h (37 mph) and a range of approximately 500 kilometers (310 miles) on internal fuel.

Crew: The tank typically has a crew of three: a commander, a gunner, and a driver. The commander is responsible for overall operation and coordination, the gunner aims and fires the main gun, and the driver maneuvers the tank.

Variants and Upgrades: Over the years, the T-72 has been produced in numerous variants and has undergone various upgrades to improve its capabilities and address its weaknesses. These upgrades have included improvements to firepower, armor protection, and electronics.

Export: The T-72 has been exported to numerous countries around the world and has seen action in various conflicts. It has been license-produced in several countries, further expanding its global presence.

While the T-72 is considered somewhat outdated compared to more modern tanks, it remains in service in many countries due to its reliability, simplicity, and relatively low cost. However, its effectiveness on the modern battlefield can be limited by its vulnerabilities to advanced anti-tank weapons and its lack of certain modern technologies found in newer MBTs.

T-80

The T-80 is not a modified T-72; rather, it's a separate main battle tank that shares some design lineage with the T-64, but it's distinct from both the T-64 and the T-72. Here's a breakdown of the T-80:

Development: The T-80 was developed by the Soviet Union as a successor to the T-64. It was intended to be a more advanced and capable tank, featuring improvements in firepower, mobility, and protection. Development began in the late 1960s, and the tank entered production in the late 1970s.

Features: The T-80 introduced several innovations, including the use of a gas turbine engine for propulsion, which provided higher power output and better performance compared to the diesel engines used in earlier Soviet tanks. It was also equipped with a 125mm smoothbore gun, similar to those found on the T-64 and T-72, but with improvements in accuracy and firepower.

Armor and Protection: The T-80 featured composite armor, similar to that used on the T-64, providing improved protection against enemy fire. Some variants of the T-80 also incorporated reactive armor, which further enhanced its survivability on the battlefield.

Variants: Like other Soviet tanks, the T-80 had several variants, including the original T-80, the T-80B, T-80BV, and later models such as the T-80U and T-80UD. These variants featured various upgrades to firepower, armor, and other systems, keeping the T-80 competitive with contemporary tanks.

Service: The T-80 entered service with the Soviet Army in the late 1970s and saw combat during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in the 1980s. It was also exported to several countries and has been used in various conflicts around the world. While the T-80 was initially the primary tank of the Soviet Union, it was later supplemented and replaced by newer designs such as the T-90.

In summary, while the T-80 shares some design elements with the T-64 and T-72, it is a distinct tank in its own right, featuring unique characteristics and capabilities that set it apart from its predecessors.

T-90

While the T-90 and T-72 share some design elements and are both Russian main battle tanks, the T-90 is not simply a modified version of the T-72. The T-90 is a distinct tank with several key differences and improvements compared to the T-72. Here's an overview of the T-90:

Development: The T-90 was developed as a successor to the T-72 tank series and was designed to incorporate various improvements in firepower, protection, and mobility.

Features: The T-90 features a more powerful engine compared to the T-72, providing increased mobility and better performance on the battlefield. It is armed with a 125mm smoothbore gun, similar to the T-72, but with improved accuracy and fire control systems. The T-90 also incorporates advanced composite armor, explosive reactive armor (ERA), and other protective measures to enhance its survivability.

Variants: The T-90 has several variants, including the original T-90, T-90A, T-90M, and others. These variants feature various upgrades and improvements, such as enhanced armor protection, improved firepower, and modernized electronics systems.

Service: The T-90 has been adopted by the Russian military and has also been exported to several other countries. It has seen combat in various conflicts, including the Chechen Wars, the Syrian Civil War, and the conflict in Ukraine.

Export: The T-90 has been exported to several countries, including India, Algeria, and Iraq. It has been marketed as a cost-effective and reliable main battle tank suitable for a wide range of operational environments.

Overall, while the T-90 shares some design lineage with the T-72, it represents a significant evolution and improvement over its predecessor. With its advanced technology, firepower, and protection, the T-90 is considered one of the most capable main battle tanks in the world today.

Former AS Roma defender Elio Capradossi (28) 🇺🇬 has been named in Uganda's squad that will face Botswana & Algeria in the World Cup Qualifiers next month.  Capradossi was born in Kampala to an Italian father & Congolese mother.  He currently plays for Lecco Calcio.

M23 rumoured to be making clandestine reinforcements after suffering heavy losses to FARD's Leopard's revenge operation!

while the FARDC recovers several entities formerly occupied by the M23_RDF_AFC coalition, sources close to the M23 rebellion inform that the opposing camp is preparing an offensive on different fronts. The source calls on the Congolese army to be more vigilant in different sectors. "All the batteries are currently in operation on the M23 side. Everyone is taking care of their sector and domain to prepare a large-scale offensive. The heavy weapons have been dismantled to prevent them from being destroyed by the fighter planes. We seeks to identify who is coordinating the FARDC military operations which have recovered several villages since last week. The M23 relies heavily on corruption to buy strategic positions and thus demoralize the troops. It is important to inform the army that the M23 have this plan and that FARDC must be very careful", alerted our sources closed to M23 who affirms that 3 axes are targeted including the village of Kabati axis Sake Kitshanga to pass through the Virunga park and attack the city of Goma. The other is kalake to go down through Muja and the other is the west of Masisi territory precisely towards Masisi center.
After an unprecedented battle, the FARDC regained full control of Ndumba hill in Masisi territory. This is a strategic position of the M23_RDF_AFC coalition. This position now allows the FARDC to liberate the villages of Kirotshe, Shasha and the opening of the Sake Minova road before rushing towards the city of Mushaki. "This position has been used by the rebellion for several days to throw bombs in the displaced persons camps of Mugunga, the populated neighborhoods such as Mugunga and Sake. These inhabitants and the displaced persons who are in the camps of Bulengo and Mugunga will soon see peace because we are gradually driving away the monster and this in a definitive way,” declared Kakoti Emmanuel, young Wazalendo resistance fighter, and the army is determined to reclaim all areas occupied by the M23 coalition.
Other intelligence sources indicate that from yesterday up to today ,m23 has been making clandestine operations in recruitments of humans and acquiring arms and ammunitions. On humans, some youth are decieved of job opportunities in Rwanda and then later being channelled to the Frontline in kivu. Some youth decry that, their bosses decieve them of getting them jobs or army recruitments with incetive of being given high ranks.Other reinforcement include fuel, boxes full of un identified ammunitions..etc.There is also a rumour among the M23 insiders that recently there was a wrangle within the M23 as the Rwandan side brought in an idea of trying to replace Afande Makenga with a Rwandan .The recent losses in positions and killings has totally demoralised the rebels ,who no longer see any chance of capturing Goma. Within FARDC,the wazalendo and general population there has been increased morale. The population and civil leadership in Masisi is calling upon youth to desist from the petty incentives that coarce them in joining the rebels group. For the wazalendo, they still maintain it ,that M23 are Rwandan invaders and must be repelled at all costs. For the SADC force,M23 made grave mistake in bombing the mugunga refugee camp and must pay heavily.

Rwandan army men apparently shocked by the massive retariatory Frigate ship of FARDC

Operation Leopard's revenge

The FARDC liberated more than 8 localities this Wednesday, the FARDC also regained control of certain hills around Ndumba where the fighting is concentrated The Rwandan army records enormous arms, ammunitions and human losses, the defensive system of the RDF risks collapse if the FARDC maintains military pressure. For the days this operation has resumed ,the M23/RDF coalition has lost alot of men including the young Rwandese boy who recently finished miltary training from Rwanda. There is alot of agony in Rwanda over this war. Many young boys are dying ceaselessly ,the wazalendo are determined to do everything to fight these M23 whom they call Kagamists or foreighners.M23 is of now seeking to recruit up to 500 youths because they have lost alot of soldiers and the remaining have lost morale.

After dislodging M23 from several localities,FARDC aims to dislodge them from Rubaya.

The operation Leopard's revenge continues,as FARD dislodges M23 from various locations.Already, several localities have been captured including Bihabwe which is about 4km from the mining centre of Rubaya. The localities captured include:

Abbas Byakagaba,the new Police boss

President Kaguta Museveni has appointed the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Abbas Byakagaba, who retired recently, as the Inspector General of Uganda Police

He will be deputized by Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) James Ochaya, replacing Maj Gen Geoffrey Katsigazi

Byakagaba previously served as Director in Charge of Human Resources and Director of counter-terrorism police.

This is a surprise but seen as a bold move, President Yoweri Museveni has recalled all military officers from the police force, effective immediately. The decision, announced on Friday, sees the departure of senior UPDF officers who had been serving as directors in the police.

Except for two officers – Tom Magambo, Director of Criminal Investigations, and Christopher Damulira, Director of Crime Intelligence – all other military officers have been recalled to the UPDF headquarters in Bombo, awaiting deployment.

The shake-up also saw significant changes in the police leadership. AIGP Rtd. Abas Byakagaba has been appointed as the new Inspector General of Police, deputized by AIGP James Ocaya. Ocaya’s previous role as Director of Research, Planning, and Development has been taken over by AIGP Hadijah Namutebi.

SCP Moses Kafeero has been appointed as the new Human Resources Director, replacing Godfrey Golooba. AIGP Fadil Kaali has taken over as Director of Fire and Rescue Services, replacing AIGP Joseph Mugisa, whose contract ends in June.

AIGP John Nuwagira has been transferred to the Field Force Unit’s Commandant, replacing Kaali. Nuwagira’s previous role as Director of Operations has been taken over by SCP Frank Mwesigwa.

The changes mark a significant shift in the police leadership and signal a new direction for the force. The recalled military officers, including Maj. Gen. Katsigazi and Kandiho (Abel), will await deployment at the UPDF headquarters.

The President’s move is seen as an effort to strengthen the police force and improve its operations. The changes have been welcomed by many, who see it as a positive step towards enhancing the country’s security.

SADC force installs new mechanisms to ensure contingent effectiveness.

Senior military leaders of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Mission Force to of the DRC, have just put in place regular feedback mechanisms at all levels of command. According to their communication consulted, this initiative aims to guarantee adequate operational effectiveness and efficiency. This strategic option, she specifies, involves the chains of command as well as operational visits to the different contingents and units of the force headquarters. “Such visits are essential to enable the Force Commander and his leadership to interact with the troops and provide directives,” reads the official SADC website. With this in mind, the Force Commander carried out many of these visits to examine the state of operational readiness, we learn from the same source which also notes that “operational visits provide good feedback on how the force is carrying out its mandate to protect civilians and how it can be improved. At best, ensure good discipline and field feedback on operations, administration and logistics. Furthermore, SADC believes that military preparedness is essential to ensure that SAMIDRC troops are ready and able to fulfill the mandate effectively and efficiently. In this sense, soldiers are prepared for combat not only through their training, but also by ensuring that they are well supplied and equipped. “Combat readiness is highly dependent on an effective chain of supply, training, maintenance, inspection and feedback,” she said. Indeed, the Force Commander has made operational visits to where the Forces are deployed. During these visits, the Force Commander met with the troops and their commanders. To this activity is also added another advantage for the SAMIDRC leadership to take advantage of the opportunity to strengthen coordination between SAMIDRC units and the National Army of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC) and give directives on how and where to improve to achieve mission objectives. In particular, ensure cooperation to achieve effective protection of civilian populations. After the bombing of the displaced area in the city of Goma by the M23-RDF, SADC troops deployed in the DRC announced that they will carry out operations to neutralize M23 terrorists and maintain peace and security by protecting civilians and their property under imminent threat or attack. The deployment of the SAMIDRC was approved by the Extraordinary Summit of SADC Heads of State and Government held in Windhoek, Republic of Namibia, on 8 May 2023, as a regional response to address the volatile security situation and deteriorated situation which prevails in the east of the DRC.

Rumours that Tshisekedi is about to terminate FARDC-UPDF joint operation against ADF.Could he have finally bowed to the pressure from media in Kinshasha?

Towards the end of Military Cooperation FARDC_UPDF Congolese.

There is a rumour flowing all over Kinshasa that FARDC could be in plans of stopping cooperation with UPDF.There is a saying that both local and miltary intelligence has collected evidence of the involvement of the Ugandan army alongside the M23 terrorists. This evidence confirms the accusations of the local population who had already warned of support from Uganda to M23 terrorists. There is an allegation and rumour that Supreme Commander Félix Tshisekedi has decided to end joint operations of FARDC and UPDF.DRC government has been under pressure from various politicians and media houses arguing DRC to stop cooperation with UPDF on allegation that it supports M23 by giving them safe haven, transfer of foods and othe reinforcements. The media in congo has been pounding and blaming the DRC gorvenment for playing cowardice in avoiding to blame Uganda for directly or indirectly supporting M23.Let me hope this not true,I personally would not wish UPDF and FARDC tto stop cooperation, the ADF is one greatest threats in the region have allegiance to the IS ,if left un engaged miltarily ,we may end up seein a splee of terror attacks in our areas.I would wish these armies to sit together ,form a joint team to verify if the allegation of supporting M23 is holds matter ,but continued joint operation against ADF not only for the good of DRC/Uganda but importantly for the whole region.Immidiate halting of this operation would be disastrous, for it can give chance for the already disarrayed ADF to reorganize both miltarly and financially and worse of it all,it would be a won battle for the ADF terrorists, know it well that terrorist organisation do not want to see a combined efforts by countries for if countries combine efforts more especially in external and most importantly in domestic intelligence, terrorism cannot thrive. With nature of African porous borders and corrupt border manning officials miltarily engaging the terrorist becomes the best and immidiate solution.Actively engaging the terrorists demoralises and disorganises them from planning attacks and other financial undertakings.Let me pray to the almighty God ,that it remains a rumour! It very absurd and unrealistic to stop such an operation that is of great regional importance in terms of security!

Operation Leopard's Revenge:Why it is targeting Rutshuru?

 RUTSHURU

Early this evening,The holy Trinity and the fourth lead in the picture.

Last weekend! The holy Trinity with special forces somewhere...

Operation Leopard's revenge of the Congolese army continues to advance on the Rutshuru front because Rutshuru is strategic, it constitutes the main supply lines of the M23. Rutshuru if released will spell the end of the RDF terrorists in the DRC.The areas of Nyanzale and kinyandongyi have faced the fire of wazalendo today. This is why the FARDC is focusing on this Front in Rutshuru. For,this operation,The DRC has just received a second batch of three Chinese CH-4 offensive drones intended for military operations against the Rwandan army and the M23s. Three others are expected within a few months.Intelligence sources also reveal that Kinshasha is trying another deal to purchase more aerial equipments from south Africa. This deal is rumoured to go up to 500million US dollars.Kinshasa continues to strengthen its military system and is preparing for the direct war against Rwanda.

MASISI

In Masisi,Intelligence sources on ground reveal that there has been forced recruitments of local youth into the ranks of M23,the national elected deputies are calling upon the youth to avoid being lurec into joining the rebels.

KIBIRIZI

The locality of Kibirizi, which once had a population estimated at more than 40,000 people, is empty today and only remains with a population estimated at less than 200 people, says our source who is still in the locality.

It has been less than 2 weeks since the organization Médecins Sans Frontières MSF(Doctor's without borders)temporarily closed its base in Kibirizi, thus evacuating its staff to Kiwanja while waiting to observe the evolution of the situation, our source still maintains. It should be noted that before MSF left the area, this organization left medicines and logistics for a period of 3 months with local health structures to meet their needs. The M23_RDF rebels are alone in several villages in the Bwito chiefdom, notably Kibirizi, Kashalira, Bwalanda, Kikuku, where the population prefers to live in secure areas under the control of the FARDC rather than remain under the control of the rebellion , whose populations describe them as “executioners”. After the M23 rebels were stopped by a FARDC wall in the hills from advancing towards the city of Kanyabayonga, our sources warn of the intentions of the M23-RDF to reinforce their presence with 5 Kamaz trucks and 4 jeeps on the axis Kikuku. According to the same sources, these rebels intend to choose the Kikuku-Kanyabayonga route directly to progress towards Kanyabayonga. A military source contacted has reassured us that "these rebels will see Kanyabayonga from afar as Moses saw Canaan." In the territory of Masisi, the M23 rebels, supported by Rwanda, overflowed from Kinigi, kaniro, karambi, mashaki to Katale, close to Masisi center, says our source on ground.

The Chief of General Staff of the FARDC Tshiwewe Songela Christian called on them for harmonious cohabitation with the SADC and SAMIRDC troops. "I came to visit you, also to encourage you. I told you that your battalion constituted a Stand-By unit. This is the unit which will carry out operations alongside the SADC and SAMIRDC troops. You you must prepare yourself because already, from this Wednesday or next Thursday, the movements should begin for you to join the SADC and SAMIRDC troops", he told the soldiers during a moral talk . General Tshiwewe Songela Christian insisted on cohabitation with the other aforementioned troops for this hunt to take place successfully. “While you are carrying out this operation, you must promote good cohabitation with your colleagues, among whom we find South Africans, Tanzanians and Malawians. You must not go there to act in the opposite direction. Don't go there and shoot at point blank range. You must apply yourself with discipline, as you do here. Don't take someone else's woman," he called out. The Chief of General Staff of the FARDC took this opportunity to draw their attention to the abusive use of social networks during these operations to track down the M23 rebels. This moral talk comes a few days after the Mugunga camp on the outskirts of the city of Goma in North Kivu was the target of M23 bombings.
