This news is contained in a telegram from the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the DRC, Army General Tshiwewe Songesa Christian, signed on Saturday, May 11,2024.In Uganda,HE the President Yoweri Museveni has appointed Maj Gen Richard Otto as the new Commander of Mountain Division and, thereby, Commander of Operation Shuuja.Maj Gen Dick Olum is heading to the South Sudan Stabilisation Mechanism, replacing Maj Gen Otto who has been representing Uganda.
