General Sultani Makenga chaired a strategic meeting with livestock farmers in Goma





General Sultani Makenga chairs strategic meeting with livestock farmers in Goma ,  participated in a meeting with authorities of the AFC/M23 movement in Goma on Saturday, April 25, 2026. This meeting is part of an ongoing dialogue aimed at strengthening collaboration between local stakeholders and authorities in areas under the movement's control. The proceedings were chaired by Major General Sultani Makenga, Chief of Staff of the Congolese Revolutionary Army (ARC). During his address, Major General Sultani Makenga called on livestock farmers of all persuasions to promote peaceful coexistence and strict adherence to livestock farming regulations in the various affected areas. He also urged them to actively participate in efforts to consolidate lasting peace. This meeting also allowed participants to freely express their concerns, particularly those related to their work. The authorities present provided them with answers and guidance. Following the discussions, the livestock farmers, who came from several localities, expressed their satisfaction with the initiative, which they consider an important forum for dialogue. They also reaffirmed their commitment to supporting efforts to combat negative practices and promote stability in the region.
