For over three days I have been frustratingly receiving both OSINT and HUMINT info in the claimed meeting between UPDF and M23 officers.There is a toxic rumour around Kinshasha that the mighty UPDF could occupy areas vacated by the M23 should the group withdraw from additional villages in Lubero. The March 23 Movement (AFC_M23) met with the Ugandan UPDF force on Friday, July 17, in Kitsombiro, According to the wazalendo spies within the local societies, claim is that the two parties discussed the possibility of the UPDF occupying areas the M23 might abandon if it withdraws from further villages. This development comes amidst reports of a potential gradual M23 disengagement towards Kanyabayonga. The wazalendo claim that a reconnaissance mission was conducted in the Kanyambi area, near Kitsombiro, in anticipation of a possible deployment of Ugandan forces.We put up this here in this writing so that the UPDF can be aware of this information circulating in Kinshasha.I call upon all the UPDF intelligence fraternity to develop more on this!
