AUGUSTIN KURATABO, FORMER SPOKESPERSON FOR THOMAS LUBANGA'S CRP, ARRESTED IN UGANDA

 

According  to our transborder mobile spies,a significant development has shaken the Great Lakes region. Augustin Kuratabo, alias "Aksante Sana," former spokesperson for the rebel movement CRP led by Thomas Lubanga, was arrested this Sunday, September 6, 2026, in Uganda by local intelligence services. This arrest comes just one week after that of Denise Dusauchoy in Tanzania, amidst a intensified fight against armed groups in eastern DRC.


The charges against him are yet to be specified, but this arrest could mark a further step in the hunt for rebel networks active in the region. The Great Lakes region continues to be the scene of a fierce struggle against insecurity, and each arrest reinforces the commitment of regional authorities to this fight.
