Captain Mahoro of FARDC defects to M23/Twirwaneho with over 50 soldiers, many guns and wages of soldier he commanded!
According to intelligence sources and reports we have received, his name is Captain Mahoro of the Cheetahs/FARDC unit. He was a company commander and was deployed to the Nzibira axis to reinforce the Wazalendo forces in launching aggressive offensives.
With a force of over 50 soldiers, they have just joined the M23-AFC-RDF coalition.
They fired on some soldiers before fleeing to their Rwandan comrades.
He fled with a large arsenal of weapons belonging to his company, as well as a large sum of money intended to pay his soldiers.
Who exactly was he in FARDC?
His real name is Mahoro Gasinzira; to blend in effectively within the FARDC, he changed his name to ALPHA-ZULU.
He served as a captain in the ANACONDA/GUÉPARDS (Cheetahs) unit, under Major DIAMANT.
Wazalendo claim that While serving as a captain in the FARDC, he orchestrated an ambush against the *Wazalendo* (local self-defense fighters) and his own FARDC colleagues near Nzibira.
He leaked all FARDC operational plans to his "Rwandan brothers," which is why almost every operation along that axis failed.
At the time of his defection, two enemy jeeps were deployed to extract him.
He is intimately familiar with the locations of *Wazalendo* and FARDC positions, as well as their operational, telecommunication, and technical codes.
Given the presence of such officers, what kind of outcome do you expect?
The wazalendo claim that Rwandan infiltrators who have been integrated into the FARDC through recruitment and integration are a major problem.

🚨🇨🇩 DRC: IF THIS INFORMATION IS CONFIRMED, IT IS A RED FLAG FOR OUR ARMY!
According to reports circulating ,he has allegedly abandoned his positions in the Mwenga region, taking more than 50 soldiers with him to join the AFC-M23 coalition.
He reportedly took a significant military arsenal, as well as funds intended for his men’s pay. The defection was allegedly preceded by shots fired at other military personnel.
⚠️ These allegations remain to be verified by reliable military sources. However, if the facts are proven, the consequences would be extremely grave.
This incident raises a fundamental question: how can an army effectively defend its territory if it does not have full control over the loyalties, movements, and accountability of those within its own ranks?
The DRC cannot afford to neglect:
▪️ Rigorous oversight of military recruitment and integration processes.
▪️ Thorough background checks for officers and soldiers.
▪️ The secure management of weapons, ammunition, and military funds.
▪️ Military intelligence and the monitoring of chains of command.
▪️ The protection of those soldiers who are genuinely committed to national defense.
Our army must be an institution built on trust—disciplined, professional, and deeply committed to Congolese sovereignty.
THE CONGO IS ENGAGED IN A DECISIVE BATTLE: A BATTLE FOR SOVEREIGNTY, DISCIPLINE, AND THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE STATE.
But take note: true patriotism does not mean condemning others without evidence. It means demanding thorough investigations, the establishment of accountability, and the existence of institutions capable of protecting the nation. We need true patriots, loyal military personnel, and an army capable of defending every inch of the national territory.
Congo must win this battle through vigilance, justice, discipline, and the restoration of its sovereign authority.
DRC goal is not perpetual war. it should be a goal of lasting peace, a robust army, and a Congo that is no longer vulnerable to infiltrations and betrayals.
