Will the IGP be grilled and fired?

Russia unveils $53m military assistance package to Uganda which was commissioned and presided over by president museveni at magamaga Jinja barracks as  security reports indicate that the Commander Of Defence Forces(CDF)-Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has ordered President Museveni to fire the Inspector Of Police(IGP) Abas Byakagaba over rising crimes in the country that are scaring away tourists and investors.


After the request, sources say Gen Muhoozi announced a lethal operation named Sasi Ku Nyama against all criminals regardless of who they know.


it has landed on our intelligence desk  that recently Gen Museveni received a dossier wanting to know what is really going on in Uganda police and why kifeesi gangs have taken over the country.

In Kisoro, Kiruhura, Kazo, Mubende and Kampala districts over 30 people have been murdered just like that yet police stations are everywhere.


Sources say President Museveni summoned internal affairs minister Wetonze and IGP Byakagaba and grilled them on why such insecurities are happening in the country.

According to whispers from senior police officers informed president Museveni that IGP Byakagaba is always slow in making decisions and that he is the reason why criminals are now at large.


While infront of the President , Afande explained that he has already ordered for the reinforcement of police personals and other security operatives in sister security agencies to be ahead of the criminals.

It remains unclear if Museveni will hold his decision or listen to orders of his son Gen Muhoozi.

  After almost six decades with Heckler & Koch, the German Bundeswehr appears to have selected a new supplier for its assault rifle.  A MK556 configuration shown on Haenel’s site (Haenel Defense) C.G.
