IS M23"s WILLY NGOMA DEAD?

There are rumours that M23"s Willy Ngoma is no more. A drone strike targeting a military procession early this morning is rumoured to have claimed the life of the AFC/M23 military spokesperson.

Several officers miraculously made it out and others were injured.

Kinshasa has activated attack mode for the past few days, using drones and ground troops. FARDC, wazalendo, Fndb and mercenaries from 8 countries attack AFC/M23 simultaneously on several fronts, in violation of the ceasefire accepted by both parties!

It should also be noted that unfortunately civilians also fall, in some blind drone strikes.

The war has resumed!

"Kinshasa will bear the consequences of this umpteenth ceasefire violation" tells me a high source from AFC/M23.

FARDC USING CHINESE WING LOONG 2 DRONE TO FINISH OFF THE M23

AFC/M23 areas under fire from FARDC's latest generation drones.

Meet the Chinese Wing Loong 2 drone, terrible in attack and intensely used since Angola's proposed ceasefire on February 18! At least 3 have been acquired by the FARDC in December 2025 and January 2026. These "dragon wings" bombard areas under AFC/M23, unfortunately, civilian casualties at times.
This drone is terrible:
1. It can carry up to 500kg of ammunition, including 6 anchored missiles.
2. Up to 32 hours of flight freedom. Its speed reaches 400 km/h.
3. It hits 10km in the air, escaping anti-aircraft batteries and jamming.
4. In Africa, these drones are used in DRC, Libya, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco and Nigeria.
Since January, according to my sources, Kinshasa is convinced that it now has military superiority over AFC/M23. Hence the attacks come from. Negotiations are just a secondary option.
The population will have to wait a long time before the war is over. And unfortunately paying the high price for this situation!

A joint cross-border technical meeting opened on February 19, 2026 in Mpondwe, on the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Over two days, experts from both countries will assess economic, security and governance issues to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
The Congolese delegation from North-Kivu is represented by Consulate Kahindo Sikakulya, Senior Coordinator of the Military Governor in charge of Finance, Economy and Trade.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has directed the prime minister Robinah Nabbanja to get in touch with Base Seven Company to implement a mega transport project at and around the government Aerodrome of Nyakisaharara-Mbarara and build an international Airport.

FARDC's new Indian tool to fight AFC/M23 drones

it is called "D4 anti-drone system".

This is what's protecting Kisangani and Kalemie airports currently! It is also possible that Bujumbura has the same system.

Made in India, it can cost between $130 and $359 million, depending on the chosen configuration and weapon power.

Here's how it works:

1. With multiple sensors and two different counter-attack modes (non-lethal and lethal), the drone system can detect, track and identify malicious drones within a 4-kilometer radius.

2. The D-4 drone system is capable of destroying micro-drones by disrupting their control and control links, then damaging their electronic components.

3. For non-lethal neutralization, the D4 system instantly detects and blurs micro-drones. For total neutralization, he uses a laser destruction mechanism. The range of the laser is 1 to 1.25 km, depending on the power of the laser weapon.

The effectiveness of this system has been proven during the India-Pakistan conflict. Several countries around the world are trying to come up with this game-changing solution in drone warfare. DRC is among those who already have this technology.

why Rwanda has been removed from AGOA eligibility list?

Yesterday, we reengaged with key members of the Executive Office of the President of the United States and once again presented our case for Rwanda’s removal from the AGOA eligibility list. Rwanda’s continued support for M23 operations in eastern DRC raises serious concerns under Section 104 of AGOA.

Countries that benefit from preferential access to the U.S. market must meet clear standards on human rights, the rule of law, and regional stability. Those standards matter. Therefore, we will continue to engage with officials in the Administration and Congress with jurisdiction over the AGOA program to encourage the termination of Rwanda’s AGOA eligibility.

It should be noted that AGOA disproportionately benefits Rwanda’s political and economic elites, his close associates, and other connected insiders. It is time to end that gravy train. We will not forget the countless innocent Congolese murdered by M23.

Washington warns threat of fresh sanctions against Kigali

The agreement signed in Washington between Rwanda and the DRC is "just a starting point" and not "an end," Massad Boulos, Donald Trump's Africa adviser, said in an interview aired on February 16 on France 24, as fighting resumed on the terrain.

Questioned about a possible failure of the agreement after the rapid degradation of the security situation, the US diplomatic officer rejected this interpretation. "The Washington Agreement served as a launchpad for this process," he said, saying it was part of a broader mechanism to bring "total peace and stability in the region."

He stressed the "essential complementarity" between the Washington agreement, which deals with relations between Kigali and Kinshasa, and the Doha process, piloted by Qatar with support from the United States and the European Union, which deals with the M23-RDC case more specifically.

M. Boulos, however, admitted a "serious violation" of the agreement after the M23 takeover of Uvira, supported by Rwanda, according to Washington. "It was the M23 and Rwanda that took over the city of Uvira," he claimed, adding that Rwandan President Paul Kagame had "betrayed confidence" in the US administration.

According to him, following exchanges with Kigali, the fighters have withdrawn from Uvira, “but not entirely”, remaining “at some strong points around the city.”

Questioned about potential sanctions against President Kagame, the US official said Washington had "a number of tools" and that "measures" could be implemented. He recalled that the United States had already imposed targeted sanctions on certain individuals and entities involved in illegal trafficking related to the conflict, citing among other measures taken against James Kabarebe.

The statements come in as Rwandan President Paul Kagame, speaking at the opening of the ‘Umushyikirano’ national dialogue in Kigali, charged tensions with the DRC to the presence of Rwandan Hutus rebels from the FDLR on Congolese territory. He has rejected any involvement from Kigali related to minerals and any willingness for territorial appropriation.

Several reports from the United Nations and the United States, however, accuse Rwanda of supporting the M23. The UN Security Council has asked Kigali to drop all support to the armed group and withdraw troops from Congo. Kigali denies the allegations.

Washington says it will continue its exchanges with Rwanda and expects "concrete action on the battlefield" to judge effective implementation of commitments made.
