Two civilians killed by ADF in mavete

At least two civilians were killed by ADF rebels in Mavete, about 6 km west of Oicha, while they were going to their fields on Saturday, February 14, 2026.

The bodies were taken to the morgue at Oicha General Hospital. Deputy Mayor Jean de Dieu Kambale Kibwana is calling on the population to be vigilant, emphasizing that the enemy is present in several localities in the western part of the commune (Mavete, Musandaba, Miliése, Katendere, Kasopo).

He stated that the army has been informed and that joint patrols will be organized to secure the area. In addition, two other residents were abducted on Friday in Mambalasa, near Buloloma, and their fate remains unknown.

Angolan President João Lourenço has relinquished the chairmanship of the African Union to Evariste Ndayishimire of Burundi.

Lourenço's term had begun in February 2025, and this was one of the reasons that led him to withdraw from the mediation efforts in the Congolese crisis. Shortly before stepping down as head of the African Union, Angola had announced that it would host the next inter-Congolese dialogue.

DRC gorvenment accusing MTN

According to our sources in Kinshasha,The Congolese government is accusing the telecommunications network of MTN of operating on its territory and using its frequencies without authorization.

The Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, José Mpanda Kabangu, the president of the ARPTC (Congolese Regulatory Authority for Post and Telecommunications), and the heads of Airtel, Orange, and Vodacom met with the Prime Minister to discuss this issue.

Congolese shocked that an MP elected in Uganda was once an MP candidate in DRC!

For over a week ,I have been carrying out an investigation into this matter and according to numerous OSINT collections from various social media sources ,DRC national archives and HUMINT collections from various political elites from Kinshasha, there are rumours and claims that a national deputy(MP) in Mahagi (DRC) may have been voted as an MP to the parliament of Uganda though there are claims of him having been an MP in DRC.

The person in this case is claimed to have been elected as a national deputy in Mahagi, Ituri, DRC, in names of Agenong'a Robert Terra who was also elected as an MP in Uganda during the recent elections as presented in the pictures below.

His election in Uganda is seen by many Congolese elites as a scandal that could cause a major uproar shaking the political scene. Robert Agenonga, a national MP elected in 2023 in the Mahagi territory of Ituri, with nearly 20,000 votes, finds himself at the center of an unexpected controversy. This politician has been elected MP in Uganda in 2026, a situation that raises numerous questions about dual political membership and the legal implications.

Claims are that he was elected under the banner of the 4AC political coalition, which is close to former Deputy Prime Minister Peter Kazadi and current Deputy Minister of Defense Eliezer Ntambwe, Robert Agenonga enjoys a certain degree of local popularity, particularly for his commitment to environmental and nature conservation in Mahagi. However, his alleged election in another country, namely Uganda, has created a political earthquake.

The details of this affair remain unclear, but its revelation could have major implications in the regional political context. The question of the legality of this double election and any potential sanctions has not yet been resolved.

In the photo above ,the claim is that he contested for a member of parliament in DRC

In this photo above,in picture no1,he is represented as a Ugandan!

Now,the question is,how can someone become a member of parliament or represent people from two different countries????
