The Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, supported by the valiant Wazalendo fighters, have retaken full control of:

1. Mohororo

2. Kaleta

3. Miyano

Large-scale counter-offensives led by the valiant and invincible FARDC and Wazalendo fighters are continuing toward Katoyi, which is already under threat; the aggressors risk being cut off from any escape route at any moment. The town of Katoyi is already feeling the impact of the Wazalendo and FARDC presence following the capture of nearby areas and the strategic use of the Mitimingi locality.

These operations have given the advantage to FARDC and Wazalendo fighters; some m23 fighter  commandos have surrendered, while many others have been neutralized or wounded, and the aggressors are abandoning their heavy weaponry as they flee.

Local sources on the ground report that the families of senior figures in the RDF-M23  movement, as well as the wives of Rwandan officers, are leaving Masisi for Goma, while others are heading to Masisi Center, fearing the advance of the Wazalendo and FARDC across several localities.

The security situation remains tense in the Fizi highlands

Contrary to some circulating rumors, the security situation remains very tense in the Fizi highlands.

According to our sources on the ground, the town of Angúlé is indeed under the control of the M23 Twirwaneho/AFC rebels. No FARDC or Wazalendo forces have repelled them so far.

Important clarification: we never claimed that the rebels had already entered Mulima. We indicated that they were at the gates of this town. To date, no FARDC member has been able to provide a video from Angúlé dated Sunday, September 6, proving otherwise.

Furthermore, several sources close to the security situation indicate that Blackwater mercenaries under Erik Prince have regrouped in Uvira. According to these same sources, Uvira is considered a strategic location allowing them to retreat should the area fall under rebel control.

We call for an end to the intimidation, death threats, and arrests targeting journalists. The population has the right to be informed of the true situation in the country.

AUGUSTIN KURATABO, FORMER SPOKESPERSON FOR THOMAS LUBANGA'S CRP, ARRESTED IN UGANDA

Augustin Kuratabo, alias "Aksante Sana," former spokesperson for the rebel movement CRP led by Thomas Lubanga, was arrested this Sunday, September 6, 2026, in Uganda by local intelligence services. This arrest comes just one week after that of Denise Dusauchoy in Tanzania, amidst a intensified fight against armed groups in eastern DRC.

The charges against him are yet to be specified, but this arrest could mark a further step in the hunt for rebel networks active in the region. The Great Lakes region continues to be the scene of a fierce struggle against insecurity, and each arrest reinforces the commitment of regional authorities to this fight.

According to reports from our agents along FIZI - POINT ZERO AXIS: Angúlé falls, rebels at the gates of Mulima.

This Sunday, September 6, 2026, the security situation remains very volatile in the Fizi territory, along the so-called Point_Zero axis.

According to concurring local sources, the town of #Angúlé, in the Bashilocha group, Tanganyika sector, has fallen under the control of elements of the #M23/Twirwaneho-AFC coalition.

Also according to our sources, these same rebels are now at the entrance to the town of Mulima. They are reportedly determined to seize Mulima, Lumanya, and Mukela, before continuing their advance towards Baraka and Fizi-Centre (Kalembelembe).

On the ground, several mercenaries identified as belonging to Blackwater have reportedly already retreated towards Uvira.

Faced with this advance, the population of Fizi, already suffering from a prolonged telephone and internet outage, remains largely deprived of information about the evolving security situation in their own territory.

The government is urged to tell the truth to the population and restore communications. Stop the intimidation: the population has a right to information.

Did M23 ,Twiraneho hold a secret meeting in minembwe?

 According to unverified circulating reports, a meeting dedicated to assessing the security situation and the evolution of the war recently took place in Minembwe.

 According to my OSINT reports, the meeting brought together several representatives of the Tutsi community, with the participation, via videoconference, of individuals based primarily in the diaspora,and particularly in Bukavu, Goma, and Kamanyola.

 Accusations have also reportedly been raised concerning certain Congolese officials within the movement's structures, with some participants criticizing them for not fully supporting certain military and political orientations.

 Accorsding to these OSINT collections,among the names mentioned in these allegations are Lawrence Kanyuka, Fanny Kayembe, Yannick Tshisola, Adam Chulo, Corneille, and Bertrand Bisimwa, as well as several officials present in Bukavu.

Many M23 welwishers we contacted see this as falsified reports by Kinshasha to sow divisionism and anarchy in the leadership of AFC/M23.

New ebola case in areas conterolled by M23

A new case of Ebola virus disease was confirmed on Thursday, September 3, 2026, in the Kayna health zone of North Kivu, according to the AFC/M23 Health Crisis Unit.

The patient is a 21-year-old man from Butembo, identified as a suspected case at the Itsu health checkpoint before being transferred to the Kirumba quarantine site. Tests subsequently confirmed his infection.

Patient care, as well as community surveillance and contact tracing, have been intensified.
