The first day of inactivity, this Friday, November 28, 2025, is being organized by a coalition of pressure groups and citizen movements to honor the memory of the victims of the ADF massacres in Ntoyo, Byambwe, Mukondo, Mabambi, and other localities in North Kivu. It aims to reiterate the refusal to normalize this tragedy and to urge the government to take action.
The second day of inactivity will take place on Tuesday, December 2, at the call of the Synergy of Women's Organizations of Butembo (SYOFEM), which condemned the atrocities, of which women are particularly victims, during a meeting at the ADF headquarters on November 25. SYOFEM is organizing a peaceful march to demand greater involvement from the authorities in restoring peace.
