Who is supplying uniform to armed bandits and rebels?

Security services intercepted suspicious packages in Butembo on Friday morning, January 30, 2026, during a routine check at the MEPROBA travel agency.

Indeed, every truck arriving from Goma and other areas under M23 control is subject to a rigorous search upon arrival in the city.

The intercepted package was a FUSO brand truck carrying various goods. Among these was a package containing mottled green military uniforms, other khaki uniforms, and boots.

According to sources from the investigation room, these goods were destined for a security company. The authorities have opened an investigation to fully clarify the situation.

Various OSINT sources claim that it was the new FARDC uniforms intercepted in Butembo and destined for the ADF terrorists!

The same OSINT sources lament that ,this is a well-known modus operandi: "corrupt officers, in collusion with certain traders, steal or have enormous quantities of uniforms produced and resell them to the ADF terrorists at exorbitant prices. In turn, the ADF invade villages and surround the population, wearing official FARDC soldier uniforms. The poor victims are unsuspecting until it's too late... the entire village is then decimated! A serious investigation is needed to dismantle this network that facilitates the ADF's massacre of civilians."
