Young Students in OICHA pleads to the DRC gorvenment to offer them military training to fight against rebels like ADF that has worsened security in BENI

A military training of one to two weeks for young people for additional support to the FARDC in their fight against the militiamen, this is the proposal made by the Association of National Students of Oïcha (AEROE) to restore peace and security in the east of the country.
For this organization, all young volunteers willing to learn something from military training should be granted government permission to deal with the embarrassing and persistent insecurity in Beni.
This plea by the Association of National Students of Oïcha in the face of the massacres of civilians in the Beni region is contained in its statement made public this Thursday, August 27, 2020.
The AEROE proposes that training and an endowment of weapons be made simply to young volunteers for additional support to the soldiers well engaged at the Beni front.
This structure proposes the suspension of all payment of taxes due to the State in the Beni region. It calls on the population to remain upright and mobilized in the face of the enemy's diabolical plan aimed at the occupation of indigenous lands and the extermination of the civilian population.
The Oïcha National Students Association deplores the passivity of the Congolese government in the face of the killings in Beni, which illustrates a genocide in progress in Beni.
AEROE recalls that since the launch of the so-called large-scale military operations on October 30, 2019, at least 792 civilians have been killed by alleged elements of the ADF.

The announcement was made by Bourgmestre Philippe Close. The aim of this initiative is to denounce the threats to which the Nobel Peace Prize winner has been a victim in recent days.
"The Observatory for the Protection of Human Rights has been informed by reliable sources of an act of intimidation and death threats against Dr Denis Mukwege. The recent threats follow the denunciation by Dr Mukwege of the massacre perpetrated in the village of Kipupu (South Kivu) on July 16 and 17, leaving 200 dead and missing, ”said the City of Brussels in a press release.
Brussel voert campaign om Dr. Mukwege in Congo te beschermen. Dat zou Nederland ook moeten doen. Het leven van deze held loopt gevaar. Zoek maar even via #Mukwege welke grootse daden hij verricht. #ProtectDrMukwege https://t.co/FvXjEHemqd - liesbeth staats (@liesbethstaats) August 25, 2020
The city thus joins in the international demand for protection of Doctor Mukwege "by demanding that all measures be taken to ensure his safety, that of his family and that of the medical staff of the Panzi Hospital".
This campaign is available on digital media with projection on all 70 digital screens in Brussels. There is also a projection on the Place de Brouckère screen, and this throughout the month of September.
“I would like to share my concern as well as that of Professor Cadière following the various pressures and intimidation suffered by Doctor Denis Mukwege. To attack him would, quite simply, destroy the values of humanity that he brings to life through his action in the exhausted region of violence in South Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is urgent that foreign affairs, which I have called on this subject, and the federal government to pressure the UN to ensure its protection. We will continue to fight alongside him for more justice in the DRC. »Says Philippe Close, mayor of the City of Brussels.
The hashtag #ProtectDrMukwege is launched.
The city of Brussels also announces that it will raise the problem by sending an official letter to international organizations (European Commissioners, President of the Council and of the European Parliament, Secretary General of the UN and of the OECD, to the Director of the committee.
