Martin Fayulu and Denis Mukwege denounce and calls for an international investigation on the Kipupu massacres where over 200 Congolese perished on 16/7/2020


Kipupu attack on July 16 continues to be talked about. The final toll of all who were killed is still not known. The DRC  Army has deployed to the area, but has not yet released the numbers. MONUSCO is only going there this Monday. In the meantime, the messages of revolt against this massacres multiply.
After the Nobel Peace Prize winner Denis Mukwege, it is up to Martin Fayulu to denounce what he calls an odious massacre. The former 2018 presidential candidate takes up the figure of 200 dead reported by provincial deputies. He adds that the perpetrators of this slaughter in south kivu are supported by neighbouring/foreign powers, without citing them.
"The repeated massacres of populations, the destruction of their villages and the looting of their property which have just culminated with this event are part of a plan to destabilize this part of the country and show that our compatriots are left defenseless and abandoned to their own,sad fate, ”he said.
He considers these events to be crimes against humanity which should not go unpunished. Martin Fayulu even suggests an international investigation.

Population in Largu riot against the recalling of a FARDC Commander in their area

The  population of Largu in Djugu territory rose to riots on the streets

5 new Covid19 cases in the city of Bunia

Ebola virus kill one person in the province of equador of DRC

The technical secretariat for the fight against the Ebola virus disease notified a new case of death recorded in Bikoro, precisely in Mooto, Saturday, July 25.

150 cows looted by CODECO in attacks from Thursday to evening of Friday 24/07/2020

The militiamen of the mystical-religious and tribal group of CODECO, Cooperative for the development of the Congo signed several armed incursions from the evening of last Thursday until the evening of Friday, July 24, in particular in certain localities of Djugu, a territory under high tension of this militia.
First, 150 cows were looted on Friday July 24, 2020 in the evening by the CODECO attackers in the SAIKPA village of the TAMBAKI group in the Chiefdom of the Bahema Banywagi.

Former Special Forces Command (SFC) commander Maj Gen Don William Nabasa returns home after completing his training in China.

Gen Don Nabasa returned to motherland uganda after completing the Defence and Strategic Studies course -NDU at the Specialised Senior Military Command College in China.
Gen Nabasa took over SFC Command from Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba in 2017.
Gen Nabasa has commanded various units in the UPDF, starting with an Infantry Platoon in 1999, a tank platoon in 2000,served as a brigade operations officer from 2004 until 2005,commanded a tank squadron between 2000 and 2007, then as the commanding officer of a battalion from 2008 until 2012 and as commander of a Group, from 2012 until 2016.
From 2016 until his assignment as SFC boss, he served as the Deputy Commander of the Special Forces Command, a division within the UPDF.
